How to Properly Bleed Cooling System

Hi everyone. I have been having some coolant issues. One day my car temp gauge got a tad over halfway and add coolant light/buzzer came on. My overflow tank fills up but will not return down to normal level when engine is shut off. I pressure tested my system, held pressure great. I checked my overflow hoses for pin holes, seems to check out good. I bought a new filler neck cap from Mazda, drove the car for a while and then coolant light came on and coolant actually spilled from the coolant overflow exit hose and the cap was actually making a "hissing" noise. Replaced the cap with the old one and now I am curious on how to properly remove all the air from my system.

1) Remove filler cap
2) Fill to full in filler neck
3) Open and remove bleeder screw from passenger side of Radiator
4) Close bleeder screw when coolant rushes out
5) Top off filler neck level
6) Turn engine on and heater on MAX heat/speed
7) Open and remove bleeder screw until coolant rushes out
8) Close bleeder screw
9) Top off filler neck and cap system

Would you say this is the correct way to remove the excess air?

I am actually replacing my thermostat, waterpump, and overflow container this week just for safe measures

You can also try "burping" the system squeeze the hoses, you may be able to get air pockets out.

There are also spill free systems that will help.

a more proper way without possibly still having an air bubble is by removing the upper thermowax hose and waiting until it purges and coolant comes out, then proceed burping it at the bleeder(if you even have one).
