How to pass emissions with a ported motor?
I've read many of the emissions related threads, is there a way to get a ported NA motor through emissions?
I run a hose directly from my air pump to the split air pipe on my cat and I use alcohol. I failed a test about a month ago, high HC and CO2. On Friday I had a brand new walker cat installed and failed the test saturday. In fact the HCs were even higher.
Is is possible to run straight alcohol? What is a safe mix?
Thanks,
Buzz

It will idle at 750 rpms. I think it's pretty mild.
