How often do you wash your car?
Trending Topics
I don't have a 7 yet, but I do wash my Probe around twice weekly, usually. Waxing....whenever I'm motivated to do so. The paint sucks, so waxing doesn't help it out much anymore.
My 7 will be washed daily, waxed weekly.

well the clear coat on my paint is gone, so I just spray it off when there is obvious dirt/mud on it. My rims/tires get cleaned about once a week. Once the car gets painted it will get washed once a week, or sooner if it gets dirty.
Blackfire Wash: twice a week
Blackfire QD: once a day
Gotta love being ANAL_RETENTIVE about your paint

I pity some of you guys. You shouldn't wash you cars everyday. Do you know what that does to your paint? everytime you wash your car you are taking off a thin layer of clear coat or wax if thats still there after all that washing and when the wax and clear coat is gone you will have a sad looking dull car. You will see after a few months of this wash/day. stuff that your car no longer looks as new as it did before. It will get dull and you will B!@#$ about needing a new paint job. My Brother in law did this same thing with his 2001 Accent. Then when you get the car repainted some of you will ignore the painters directions and start washing your poor car right when you get it back and you know what will happen if you do that? Your paint will start flaking off. Ask one of my friends, thats what happened to his. If you ask someone that paints cars for a living they will tell you to wash/wax once a month and only dust/use water only when needed. I hope some of you guys don't seriously wash your poor cars every day anyways. That much water on the car all the time and you get a scratch...man that will lead to rust. poor poor cars.
just my $.02.
I wash/wax once a month and dust/water only in between when needed.

May I humbly suggest a visit to :
www.autopia-carport.com. What peacekeeper is saying is not true of a properly detailed car. I would also suggest buying and reading the E-BOOK at:

These guys know how to detail, just choose your poison:
Blacfire, ZAINO, or KLASSE

At least once a week, but depending on what drives or loal events are going on, more often as needed. Wax with the buffer every 4-6 weeks and I polish it out every 2 weeks. That is why it looks like this:

Huh. Interesting concept.
I thought I was doing good not washing it, letting the layers of dirt act as a perservative for my paint.
Twenty five layers of dirt also acts to seal the moisture in my Vert's cloth top, keeping it like new.
The layers of mud on the front bumper and hood act as a natural "bra" to protect against rock chips.
Also, I haven't changed my oil since it came off the showroom floor. I was tramatized by the Exxon Valdez incident as a child, so can't bring my self to add to world pollution.
Okay okay. I'm a main stream once a week guy also.
