You blew a seal after 5000 miles? Which seal was it, apex, corner, oil, water?

Ah, that could explain it. I might have considered buying it off you, but I just rebuilt my motor.

Depending on what seal you are talking about, a broken seal could cause quite a bit of internal damage making the housing or side plate useless. If you have the engine out, tear it apart. I could be interested in the core if everything minus the seals is intact.

well it blew the apex seal. now i havent been driving it since it happened. but it could have been damaged. im waiting for my j spec before i remove the engine. but i want to sell everything all in one including the turbo, ecu and intercooler. i really dont have time to take the engine apart so i would be selling it as is assuming the worse. the engine looks real clean though.

Well you should expect atleast $400 for the block, turbo and ecu. If you are willing to sell just the shortblock, let me know and we'll talk.
