how much rubber on stock rims?

im getting new tires. should i get bigger size then stock? i have the bologna slicer 15s. what size is good?

If you have a 5-bolt hub, try to dig up some 16's from a turbo and but 225/50-16's on them. If you have to keep the one you have, I have no idea.

sames ones i used to have, i have 205/60/15s on my gxl wheels (which are collecting dust in my garage..), you could get 215/50 for the rear... i'd leave the front the same: 205/50

i had 205/50r15 up front.... and 225/50r15 in the rear.... the car was lowered, and it looked killer

On my 87 SE my brother put on 205/70R14's, a bit big but filled the wheel wells pretty nice, they are more like a truck tire but with a higher sidewall it made getting around the awful street conditions we have here in houston. example...bad pot holes. i know you have 15's so id say go with what vipers is saying, more tire to me is better than the tiny amount of straight line performance you get with narrower tires.

stock size is 205/60/15 yes? should i go with 60s or 50s? i think the 50s might look goofy since its not lowered..

50's look okay on stock suspension. 225's on the back look bad ***.

i have the same dilemma, but i don't want to buy good tires for the stock 15x6's. i've got it on heresay that you don't really wanna go over 205 on the 15x6's because the sidewall will want to rollover on hard cornering. i'll be finding some nice (price and looks hopefully) 16x7's soon and wrapping them in 225/50/16 rubber.
