Hello. I will be rebuilding my engine soon and sence i will have it apart i a m wanting to know how much horse power it is posible to get out of it and it is a N/A. I will be porting and polishing the hole thing stage 3. i probably will not be bridge porting it though. I am also of course replacing all the seals with performance ones of course. ill be rebuilding the tranny at the same time too. i am also planning on bolting on the full racing beat exhaust package headers and all as well as forming my own custom cold air intake. also ill be port and polishing the throttle body probably. Just incase you are wondering i am not going turbo because i ust do not feel like it and it will be more expensive because sence im doing all this myself all im paying for is a little bit of parts and i want to have a fast as hell N/A sleeper when im done. so yeah i am just trying to find a rounded number of what ill have when im done so ill know what to expect and so i can get an idea for what kind of drive shaft and rear end ill need.

 

The HP will be entrily dependent on the type and size of port done to the engine.

If you are doing a street port, then you might be able to get 160 or so at the rear wheels with that set up...

But again it will depend on the porting more than anything else you have described.
