how do i know what resistor i need to use when installing 720 secondaires.... people are saying i need a 10ohm resistor which color wire do i wire the resistor into im good at soldering i just dont understand this stuff to well
You can get 10ohm 10 watt resistors at Radio Shack for a buck or two. They look like 1" long concrete blocks - best description.
Doesn't matter which wire you splice it in to. Cut the wire, attach one end of one wire to one end of the resistor, and the other wire to the other end of the resistor. Done.
Make sure to solder the connections, and insulate it very securely with heat shrink and electrical tape. You have to have a good, sound connection there or you'll scratch your head with weird problems
.
It's really easy, and reliable - I've done a number of cars this way, and it works great.

I prefer the larger 20-watt ones, but the 10-watt ones should be okay.
The stock resistors are like 20-watt ratings, but they are only like 8-ohms, I think.  10-ohms on low-impedence will work fine.
