i want to sell my 88 gtu for a 2nd gen gtus. it has 80,680 miles the body is in good condition, clear title, interior is good ecept for the center consol which i plan on fixing before i sell it, but the engine needs to be rebuilt. it still is my daily driver so it obviously runs and drives. it just isnt the rotory power i expected or want. i plan to sell it on ebayor here.

 

Well, if the body is perfect, but the engine needs a rebuild, then I wouldn't expect over $2200. Why would the engine need a rebuild? It only has 80k on it. My 91 w/ 100k on it still kicks ***!! If the engine turns out to not need a rebuild, $3k would be the hightest you would get for it. Any mods?

 

You know the 88 GTU with manual windows and alum hood weighs less than a 89-90 GTUs.

The 88 GTU also has a better (read quicker) LSD.

With a cat-back exhaust and K&N intake you'll be making as much power as the 89 anyway.
