How much is the fuse block worth?

I blew one out last night and I got a replacement for $20..today.


What are these fuse blocks worth.. Its the main block on the drivers side shock tower.

How exactly did you "blow one out?" Seems like you would just blow out the fuses.

you will find out you can not pull the 80 amp fuse out of the block...


We forgot to disconnect the battery while we did some mods and shorted the system out. and blew the main fuse out.

You have to replace the entire block if the 80 amp fuse blows.....

unless someone else knows how to get it out, I could not .... much less have a 80 amp fuse layin around.

Main fuse is held in by a bolt. The one behind that little platic cover on the side.

hey.. its was about 7:00 at night.. its wa dark and the flashlight was almost dead.. matches would have made more light than I had last night.

Glad to learn something new.. makes me feel good.

The fues GLHS was talking about was on my car. Sure enough, 2 bolts and off it came. Works great now. While working on our rx7s, we learned something new everyday

Don't worry, I did the exact same thing many moons ago. I thought the fuse had melted into the block, and mangled the fuse trying to remove it.

BTW, those aren't weird fuses or anything - you can get them at an auto parts store no problem.
