What kind of weight reduction have you done? Im curious because I also have a 86 base, but I turbo swapped it. The only thing I have removed is all the a/c and heater crap.

2620 Lbs without me in it and 3/4 tank of gas.

'87 TII with manual everything, sunroof delete, missing its carpet, headliner and A-pillar trim. Lots of weight in big cooling systems and other turbo gear added to it.

Aluminum hood, no ac, no heater, no power steering, manual windows, greddy exhausts (35% lighter than OEM), no spare tire and accessories, light weight flywheel, light weight seats, no center console, light weight konig 16'' wheels, removed heat shields and such, removed all small unecessary things. Still have the whole interior though.
