I paid 3k for my '87 GXL ... not to bad considering that it had 2k on a new engine.. already had intake on it... new tires... 1.5 LSD... and no problems since...
but I would trade anything I own for a nice red or black S5 T-II... Damn!

Latest aquistion

90 GXL, Black for $150. Primarily just needed was the Steering Knuckle replaced because the owner neglected the wheel bearing such that it was essentially welded on the spindle. Cost me $40 used to replace.

So, all in cost $190. Now, just a few optional things to get it up to my standards.

i got a 87 SE

they wanted 1500 but i got it for 1100, they said it needed a clutch, it really just needed clutch fluid, i drove it away, i think he was pissed

regardless, it lasted 3500 milse and then badwaterjacket seals caused it to be parked last may.. where it sits now, but im having fun swaping in turbo parts and 5 lug conversion, my mom hates it, but i love it
