uhm, 20psi is not 1200hp, and the stock 2mm 3 piece are some of the best working seals (meaning theyre great unless you have MASSIVE horsepower)
13bt will go a long way heavily modified, dpends on how heavy you want to go and how much you want to spend/how much hp you want.

the factory 3 piece 2 mm seals are good for 1200HP in a 13B, thats what they break at when stress tested.
the mazda 2mm 3 piece apex seals are the best seals you can run, they seal better, cause less wear and generally 'perform' better than any after market seal, unless you can find some after market 3 piece apex seals, the stock 2mm seals are the seals for you.

they don't break @ any horsepower number, rather I would think they'd break @ a specific max torque number. You can make 1000HP if you can spin the motor high enough safely.

Where do you guys get this "information" that keeps getting spread on here? Half of this stuff comes from "How to blow your motor 101"

dam your intake temps must have been high. you shouldn't run over 10psi on the stock IC and you shouldn't run over a bar on the stock turbo. and that is asuming you have the fuel. you shouldn't even be running 1 bar with only a pump and FPR. and you shouldn't be running over 12psi or so with an FCD. you arn't getting enough timming redard for the boost.
you can run 20psi no prob but that is with a bigger turbo, FMIC, standalone ECU, bigger injectors, etc.

The not running over 1 bar with the stock turbo is a falicy, there is a guy in our group(soloracer), who ran 1.5 bar pretty much all summer on the stock turbo, and it does not blow oil or anything else, the car has the wolf 3d ecu, and it runs massively rich, but the turbo took the abuse.. You need more fuel and timing control to run this kind of boost definately, but it can be done...Max

I believe the stock irons can hold ~36Psi before the break.. But that really doesn't matter none of you will probably need to run that..
I think crispeed is running like ~30Psi and is putting down very high 600RWHP (I am not sure what seals he is using though)

I was running 20psi boost with an after market ic and cracked a seal, didnt realize that fuel was a problem, I think I ran lean and then detonated. Moot point now tho I have a new engine ported and polished with 3mm seals.
