How many of you would pay the asking price?

It's a 1988 TII with a straight body, but the paint's either lost it's shine or it's white primer.

Newly rebuilt massive streetport (says about 10k miles)
Rebuilt stock turbo (says about 2k miles)
2.5" Racing Beat downpipe, 2.5" midpipe to single SS muffler
'Custom' cold air (home-made, not my doing but it does the job just fine)
Turbo XS BOV
New brakes all the way around
Aftermarket 16 inch wheels, decent tires (look like the generic rims wal-mart used to sell)
Short throw shifter
All new suspension bushings, Racing Beat rear toe eliminator
KYB AGX shocks, 8 way rear, 5 way front
Suspension Technique springs
3 row Koyo radiator
Line lock
FD 120 amp alternator w/ dual-belt pulley
HKS Type 0 Turbo Timer
Half a body kit (no front...the front to that kit is hideous anyway)
S5 tails

The itnerior is near gutted...no front carpet and all the sound-deadening stuff is gone. He's got a lot of the rear panels but not all of them. The driver's seat is rough and torn in a place or two. Hatch is busted but I don't mind that, I have a spare at the house. No center console, but, again, I have one.

Any opinions?

He;s asking $2500 firm...he's been talked down from $3000 and just stuck with the price. Doesn't want to come off it at all.

yeah I'm doing what I can to get him the $2500 he's asking because I felt it was well worth it, but wanted to be sure.

The only thing that reall gives me the creeps about it is that the car's been listed since like last may and it's still for sale. He said that one person came and looked at it and that person turned out to be a 14 year old kid. He said no one else has even came to look at her. Said he got the red S5 sold really quick.

No such thing as a 3 row koyo, they just started making the n-flow this year iirc which is a 2 row but thats only for fd's and s5's, the way its described is like he tried to make a track car. I'd pay 2500, just do a comp test first.

It's got whatever that one is...anything's better than the stocker, though.

I say go for it if you have the money. I paid more for my TII and it was stock when I bought it. Sounds like a deal to me.

Talking

i was recently going to buy a 1988 white turbo II that needed a rebuilt engine with 130k on the chassis . He was aking $2500 wich i thought was a bit much for a car with a blown motor . So i e-mailed him asking him what was the best price he could do ... his e-mail reply was .. and i quote " $2500 CASH" ... well mine was " no thanx" . If the car runs decent then i'd pay the $2500 he's asking but if the motor is blown as in my recent case or has some body damage i'd try to bring him down some ... but as i know it doesn't always work !

i would definatly pay 2.5k for it. Hows the interior?

EDIT: nevermind, i see where u said there isnt much interior.

Also i can see in the pics that the rubstrips are removed......which in my opinion is kinda tacky........But at least the gap is painted over.

White turbo II's for life!

I actyually like the rubstrips off...I hate the mouldings on the FC, but I may put them back on so they'll at least match the bumpers...
