140,000 on the odometer. Couple of issues I've fixed in my lengthy (pfft!) 1 year ownership. I beat the hell out of this car like it owes me money...wait...the damn thing DOES owe me money!

Drive my 87 NA everyday, just put a new pulse damper on it yesterday. Been home about 30 minutes after taking a 60 mile run on the Parkway (6 miles from my driveway). Damn what a beautiful day, in WNC. Time to get the MX-5 out.

Mine is a daily driver. Over the next three or four years I plan to restore, replace, and upgrade everything so it stays that way. Only downside is that it is hard to work on when it is your only means of transportation.

i drive my FC everyday. So far it hasnt let me down *knock on wood* except for a coolant leak from a 21 year old hose which was noticed and replaced before any damge was done. The gas mileage isn't exactly stellar but for the power it makes i cant complain.

My essentially stock black 88 Vert has been a daily driver for my Houston commute since I bought it last year. I've also taken it on a business trip to the *** end of Louisiana - top down all the way.

In fact I only put the top up when I am forced to.

My wife wants a red one so we'll have a his & hers set.

Depends on how you drive, if (thats a big if :p) you stay out of boost the mileage would be fine on a TII. The problem is that boost is a drug, you just cant keep from hitting the gas to get your fix. Atleast thats how I am.

So boosting can lessen your mileage 3-4 mpg compared to an N/A?

Lookin for a 7' but it needs to be my DD (until I get a bike)

drive mine every day that it actually works "D

other than side-effects from flood damage a couple years ago it drives fine, need to replace the entire exhaust system from rust damage is about all that is left

aside from the horrible gas mileage of course... but i live in suburban sprawl so anything under 50MPG is basically a nightmare :|
