I need to buy a new clutch for my 88 10th AE, and i cant seem to find how many splines it has, or even the external diameter of the clutch disk. Does anyone know? thanks

What exactly are you trying to do?
You should be able to give the vendor the car type, and he should be able to cross reference the part number.
Are you trying to find some cheaper option or something?
The splines are 1" x 23.
Just like a....Ford...Pinto.

im simply trying to replace the clutch. But since i live around summit racing in reno, i want to get it from there. They offer centerforce clutches for the rx7, but when i specified the 88, there were a lot of listings for an 88 rx7 each with a different spline count and diameter.
Also, what clutch should i use to support the power of a 60-1 on 15 psi? Thanks

Well i think i decided on which clutch i want. Here it is, let me know if you think that this would work well with my application. So far for mods i have: a garrett 60-1 on 12 psi, 3" dp split to dual 2.25's, HKS SSQV, Walbro 255, and an aeromotive fpr.

That's a great clutch, but a lot of people on this forum have trouble installing it correctly. It worked great on my TII, but the guy who installed it knew what he was doing. The majority of the people on this forum... not so much. If your skills, or your mechanic's skills, aren't so great, then you may want to just stick to something easy like an ACT clutch.
I consider myself pretty mechanically inclined. I have built 5 piston engines and two rotaries by myself, as long as making custom mounts, fuel tanks, intercooler setup for my talon and things like that. What is the special trick with installing this clutch? Is there anything i should be especially careful with? I am going to try and replace as many things on the back of the motor sealing related because my car ate this clutch and it slipped since new. I think the rear main is bad, but what else should i replace while back there? Thanks for all your help guys.
