If you scroll down, as of January 2007, there were 92. Four years later, I imagine it is less. A few days ago, there was a thread started to attempt to document how many were left. So far there are two responses, I believe. Based on what you say, I think that 1991 Turbo II registry is what you were referencing when you said 50 left.

I read that wrong. My post was specifically talking about 1991s only. The link does have data for all three years of S5s though. There's not a whole lot left.

combined with low production numbers and the fact that a lot of FC owners want to go all fast and furious on their car, not many will survive. if many more than 50 91 TII's are still on four wheels i would be suprised.

'91 Turbo, 89k original miles. I tried to start a registry for 91s but I don't think there are enough left to keep a thread going.

I've got an 89, but it hasn't seen the road in a few years due to slow rebuilding process.

I had an 89, it was my first rx7. After blowing the motor twice I couldn't keep it around at the time. I kick myself for letting it go every day.
