I'm in the process of rebuilding my engine... Mine would be done on the floor but I built a wooden stand that brings it off the floor about a foot. Other people have done it too...

I have... But i used the old engine stand adapter.... at least I did... 'till some ******** left the engine stand out in the alley after putting his rebuild in his third gen...

I bet the guy who stole the engine stand is still trying to figure out how to bolt his friggin honda piston engine up to the rotary adapter.....

Doing mine now started monday and want to have it running by moday. First turbo but about the tenth rotary. I like the bucket idea, wish I had thought of it. I built an adapter for a regular engine stand. It has only tipped and fallen on my foot once...

Talking

I have an engine stand for the assembly/dissassembly portion. But for all the dirty work, I am either doing it on the floor or on a small old table. My garage is not the best organized place right now so I had to make due. To protect my floor, I am just using old boxes to catch any loose juices.
