How Many People

have had coolant seals to go and how did you car act, after my coolant temp goets abouve normal and i try to restart my car i takes about 3 min. and a puff of white smoke and missfires and then smoothens out,(poosible coolant seal

my car ran like it had half the power it usually did. To get it to start i had to pull the egi fuse, crank the engine for a bit and the replace fuse and start the car. there was alot more exhaust then there ever was before. i didnt ever have it "smooth out" fore me. compression check showed that my front rotor had almost no compression. Mazda dealership told me it was a blown apex seal, but when i took off the oil cap, there was alot of coolant lining the sides of tube, and when i drained the oil there was coolant in that too.

search for blown coolant seals. There is enough threads on this topic that you should be able to find lots of info on the signs, symptoms and remedys.
