have had coolant seals to go and how did you car act, after my coolant temp goets abouve normal and i try to restart my car i takes about 3 min. and a puff of white smoke and missfires and then smoothens out,(poosible coolant seal:confused:

my car ran like it had half the power it usually did. To get it to start i had to pull the egi fuse, crank the engine for a bit and the replace fuse and start the car. there was alot more exhaust then there ever was before. i didnt ever have it "smooth out" fore me. compression check showed that my front rotor had almost no compression. Mazda dealership told me it was a blown apex seal, but when i took off the oil cap, there was alot of coolant lining the sides of tube, and when i drained the oil there was coolant in that too.
