How Many People...

Okay, so i'm interested in finding out how many of you guys with s4's have had an issue with your sway bar end link bracket bending, breaking, fracturing, or anything of that nature. my right one fractured in 2 places and cracked one side completely off. now ive actually heard of 2 other people having the same problem so instead of buying some shitty ones from mazda i decided to fab some up outa 1'4" steel. it honestly made a difference in the feel of the car. (by the way i have a racing beat front swaybar and heimed endlinks)....anyways so the real question is how many people have had this problem with their endlink mounting brackets and whether or not you do have an issue would you be interested in purchasing a set for your car.

this is just a feeler thread for me to find out if there is a need for this in the rx community. i don't have a price or exact materials yet but like i said, if the response is good i'll proceed with getting some pics, specs, prices, and ordering.

Remember this is for series 4 cars only (86-88).

I have an S5 and mine broke on the drivers side with Suspension techniques sways.

I'm replacing them with the RB sway bar links. The RB links are metal but they also have the urethane bushings. Is yours ALL metal?

you're talking about a swaybar ENDLINK. i am talking about the bracket on the lower control arm that the endlink bolts to. and like i said its for s4 cars

i know which one you mean now, still interested in seeing yours, I just don't know if the solid ones would be beneficial or detrimental.

and yes i have 2 heim joints with a threaded shaft in between for endlinks. but the bracket will be a stock replacement. one could buy the racing beat endlinks and use them with my bracket.
