How many here have hit TOP SPEED in their car?

But I hit 90 which was top speed in my 'vert back before the new motor...
Don't know what top speed is yet with the rebuilt Jspec/T2 conversion, I haven't finished breaking in the motor yet.
Hit 135 (based on RPM) in my old sport more than a couple times on the San Diego to Vegas runs when I used to live in San Diego.

Tacho- borrowed from the greek word for SPEED.
Used in compound for the formation of the word tachometer.
I am refereing to MPH instrument being burried
that's what I meant.
But I guess its RPMS too. 5 gear @ 8000 RPMS = some speed X.

I hit 130 something this past Sunday. 4th gear right around 6500-7000 rpm. It pulled really good once the car got past 110, but for some reason it starts to drag right around 100-110. I let off because I was catching traffic. I might try for a fully topped 5th after I fix my wheel bearing.
