How many GTU owners?

I had a Black 88 GTU and enjoyed it. I was just wondering how many of you guys own the GTU model and how you like yours?

I like the GTUs, but I want a TII because I love working on cars. Go figure why I came up to look at yours last month Doug, still trying to sell it?

Smile I would be luck to have your car Bonsai

I would be luck to have your grandma's accord. I know alot of people have said that. But you still got a car now. I recked my MX3 and now i am carless. I have my project car supra but i hate that heavy piece. And i drive my mom's car some times and is auto so i feel your pain. All i want to say is that you will get a rx7 someday and i feel the same way about driving auto.

I have one with all the mods in my sig producing an estimated 185-190 hp. No exaggeration....every time I get out of my car I have a big grin on my face and audibly say "I love my car". I am totally in love with it (and my wife too hehe). The 7 cant lose.

I had an 89 GTU, and now I have a 90 GTU. Nearly identical cars, only difference was the 89 didnt have a sunroof, and the 90 does.

Thumbs up

I have an 88 GTU - brilliant black (the best color)...

I like the car alot more than my mr-2, and probably a bit more than the Miata I had.

Was just starting to mod it for auto-xing when the engine puked at 190,000.

Best investment for this car is the Mazdatrix Rear-Steer Eliminator kit!!!

88 GTU here and I love it. I wouldn't trade it for anything in the price range.

On the track, it doesn't feel any slower than my old TII.

I've got a 88 Brilliant Black GTU bought it for $2400 with 82k on engine. Now at 97k.

It's got bad rock chips all over the hood and Pass fender but the rest is good other than some minor dents.

Grey interior is prefect and on a black car mmmmmm..

I've got 15 inch Silver spoked cheapo rims on it but it looks great(not too big but good).

I've painted my Calipers Red so they stand right out that I'm 4 piston.

I haven't taken my car to a AutoX but I would love to see how I do since all my friends are straightline idiots and all beat me in that Dept.

I'll be selling my 88 GTU and SE soon so I can get a TII,hehe the darkside is calling me.
