Mine went 2 weeks ago.
At first I cried... then I laughed... then I was depressed... and now I'm accepting...
Anyways, my new engine will be here any day.

Let me see...
1 stock GSL SE on nitrous. ( cracked end piece, still drove for a while.)
1 J-bridge. ( lean it out at Laguna Seca, once again cracked end piece, still drove for a while. This motor had 2 years worth of monthly track event, when it was taken apart it looked like 150k + from a stock motor when it had about 28k.
1 J-bridge. ( one rotor right away. Up to today I still have no idea why this one let go. The only thing different is I had MSD on it so I have to blem MSD for the detonation. However I was running carbon seal so no damage to housing or rotor.)
1 Stock GSL-SE. ( one rotor right away. Straight away at Thunder HIll. I think the fuel pump screen was clogged.)
1 T II. ( one rotor right away. had the Racing Beat apex seal remover which is 3 inch exhaust, FCD, and F - con.)
1 220k Stock GSL-SE. ( On rotor right away. just let go at 30 mph cruising. I was ghetto and disconnected one injector and still drove on one rotor for 2k.)
1 130k Stock TII ( same as above TII.)
Opps I did it again. ( same as above TII.)
1 30k FD. ( one rotor right away. My bad I had 87 octane.)
this is over the course of 9 years and 11 cars.

blowing your first engine, is like some sort of right of passage. when i blew mine i was really bummed, but then i felt like i was now part of the inner loop. We should have some sort of support group for those that are newbies to this.

2 within 1 month of each other.
I've owned the 88 GTU for 11 months and added 20k to it when it blew a coolant seal at 102k.
I owned the 88 SE for around a year and a half and added 15k onto it when it blew it's coolant seal at 155k.
The GTU went in October and the SE went New years eve this year/beginning.

I havent blown one yet nor have I tried, LOL My GLS_SE was hit by a non driving bastard just after I got some mods done to it, had 160k on it and run like new, I sold my 91 which was in tip top shape with 120k for cash cause i was in a jam last year, now I have a 89 with 5k on a large streetport and if i blow that I may have to pop myself in the head, LOL. I try to save all the hard core driving for when i need it most. Thats what the sportbikes for

Well, never blew the 91 NA, and its still going strong with its new owner.
The 90 NA came blown, but is getting a transplant next month.
