I painted my plate with that black truck bed liner. Like Rhino lining wanna be stuff.

I used it because the rest of my console had texture to it, so I wanted my plate to have texture too. After a couple coats it looks really nice. I will post pictures sometime. But the texture almost completely matches the rest of the console.

Yeah, I have an actual metal aftermarket dash kit I found in my shop last year. It's a single din slot dash kit, and I cut out a square on the lower portion to mount my profec and turbo timer. Then I sprayed it with some truck bed liner spray, and it looks pretty nice. I have another one is someone wants it.

Last I heard he still had a couple left. Not sure which versions though and they were cut for S5 models. I got one and it worked great.
