how to make a 2nd gen faster

Ok I'm looking to buy a 2nd gen Turbo RX-7 and i was woundering what were some things i could do to make it faster. I know i can upgrade the the exhaust, intercooler clutch, and turbo, but i was woundering what kind would be the best to get. Now im only 20 years old so i dont have an endless amount of money to spend so i would also like to know what would be the best upgrade to do first. One more thing, does any one know how much boost you can run on the stock setup before you start having problems. Thanks a lot

Max

I'll be nice but most would just leave it at that

the best way to go is
1) FCD
2) Cat back
3) cat "or race pipe"
4) intake
5) safc
6) boost controler
7) intercooler
8) turbo

my frind in runing 10lbs on a stock turbo and intercooler no problem.

The best bang for the buck - weight reduction.

Free breathing intake & exhaust will up the boost for cheap serious power, BUT the stock fuel system is already near maxed.
Without fuel system enhancement the motor will detonate at high power.
