How to lubricate injector o-rings?

What do you use to lubricate the injector o-rings? I can't seem to find the special stuff you're supposed to use, so what else will work?

Heh, my ghetta *** used regular old grease... just a little bit, enought just to get it sorta slick. In the mazda manual it says to used a bit of petrol though,.... either way, you just need enough of something to just eeaasseee them in there. Have Phun

also, anyone know how long before regular rubber o rings go bad (deteriorate) in the injectors?

my o-rings were 11 years old with 85,000 miles on them, and they still seemed good as new. Of course I replaced them anyways, along with every other hose and gasket.

Do I use these to produce the needed lubricant? Or are these the lubricants themselves?

Thanks HAILERS!

The Haynes manual says to lubricate with fuel, but it doesnt work very well. Vaseline works so much better.
