Thats true but who can concentrate on two things when trying to get hold of your rear-end.
Try going to European forum/ Whoops rear caught me off guard, and see what will eventually happen

Today I just put my Bonez DP/MP on and it's really made the car sound better. LOUDER but better. Not as loud as my room mate's 89 GTU w/ Pacesetter Headers, Bonez hi-flow cat, and Apex'i single N1. That thing would blow the windows out of a 10-story building. All of them. And set off every car alarm on the island of Manhattan...and he still only runs 15.46 in the 1320 (only mods=exhaust)...

I have a 3" racing beat downpipe and 3" exhaust, no cats and to me, my exhaust is not that loud but my aparment complex disagrees They say it's so loud that there have been to many complaints. Now I can only drive it between the hours of 10:30am - 6:00pm. They also banned motorbikes.....dame apartment people.

they can do that--man thats fawked up, i have custom headers and custom 2.5" single exhaust(straight thru) along with a K&N airfilter, nobody ever bitched about my car, atleast not yet.
Try coasting into your parking-lot instead of driving it, it sucks but nobody gets pissed. Happy Newyear---Kim

Ha ha, I agree. I could only hear my engine or exhaust under HARD acceleration with the stock manifold, 3 cats, and stock cat back. I am about to street port the engine and grind out the exhaust diffusers in the housings, so I will probably keep the main cat after the header just to try to keep the exhaust civilized. I may even put the stock cat back on to replace the HKS one I have on it now, should not be too much of a performance hit. Those cats seem to be the big deal with exhaust restrictions.

I just installed the whole RB turbo back exhaust and it's not as loud as when I had a straight pipe to the stock rusted out mufflers... I'm actually amazed at how NOT loud it is.

lol war plugs. Thats what you need in mine.

I have a 88 GTU with bonez superflo with high flow cat and corksport single catback. All I have to say is "WHAT??? I CAN'T HEAR YOU!"

To not set off my neighbors alarm on his Civic I have to coast by in neutral. At 2k RPM i set it off.
It's really loud at 3k and at 6-7K. At 3.5-4.1 It is quiet enough for me to coast by Cops.

I want to go with a RB header and "test pipe/presilencer" but am afraid I will be the loudest and slowest damn FC on the road in AZ.

I am running RB DP/MP on the Corksport catback (the most un-muffling exhuast I have ever heard). It is devastatingly loud...but it sure scares the **** out of civics. I'd say its a bit too loud, but I can't complain, the top end I picked up is priceless. If I don't sell this thing and buy a TII I am gonna port the intake manifold and put on some headers...then it will be loud beyond description! AAAHHHHH!!!!!
