Mine starts right when I turn the key most of the time....fastest starting car I ever have owned or driven (1987 Turbo2 w/ Jspec). My old 87 NA would take about 3 seconds or so.

my T2 is the best starting FC ive ever been around. it turns over twice and fires off. now whether it wants to stay running is another story.

Is it bad necessarily if it takes say more than a couple seconds to crank. If it starts up strong after that time though, then things should be fine correct? I just went a test drove a 88 GXL that ran REAL strong, but it kinda took longer than I'm used to my buddys starting (when warmed up), just diff. from 7-7 I guess.

mine starts after a couple of cranks but usually requires the gas pedal to help it .. 1 - 2 seconds but the gas needs to be their to coach it along i guess?

90 TII probably a tired motor..
