Procedures are in both the Haynes and Factory service manuals. There is a link to the FSM in the FAQ.
Timing does not suddenly go bad unless the CAS was moved. Even if it's slightly off (or even off by quite a bit) the car will start.
What makes you think the timing is "bad"?
