How hard is it to rebuild a turbo?

Alright in my immediate area, all the turbo shops have basically closed. I am "thinking" of trying to start rebuilding them myself as there are ALOT of people that need this done and now is the opportunity for me. Anyone rebuild them and if so how hard/complicated is it? Seems pretty easy to me. What specialty equipment would I need? Thanks alot.

Oh and I have a stock blown one to start with too. Is this over my head or no? I am mechanically inclined and do or can do most everything on my car.

The turbo isn't entirely complex. I have one in pieces sitting in my garage.

The thing is you want to make sure everything is balanced.

I got my turbo done by www.turbosdirect.com They are down the street from me and was like $200 and 2 days for turn around.

My father i actually willing to front some money to get any equipment I may need. Thats what I was figuring to be the most important and the biggest hurdle. What piece of machinery do I need to balance a turbo?
