Exclamation How to get back my cold idle?

Backin August, I did the throttle body mod on my NA. I removed both the thermo wax and secondary butterflies. Then I got the problem of my car not havign a cold idle. I have to sit in my car with my foot on the gas until its warm.

So what do I need to do to get my idle back? Should I re-install the thermo wax? woudl that help out more than replacing the butterflies? I do have another throttle body with the butterflies still, so I'd just bolt it in.

Could I also try closing the idle butterfly (the bottom of the 3 still in) almost completely, then just open the idle air adjust?

It just sucks sitting in my cold car when temps get dow below 10 degrees.

Sorry dude, but this is an example of doing a mod without fully understanding the consequences. Everyone's quick to say "do the TB mod", but the negative side-effects seem to be glossed over. Reinstalling the thermowax would give you proper cold idle.

The thermowax and double throttle systems are completely seperate, don't affect each other, and do not have to be removed together. Only the thermowax affects cold idle, not the double throttles.
