How to Fix a leaking Earl's Swivel-Seal Hose End

I have an Earl's Swivel-Seal Hose End on the braided stainless steel -10 AN line that goes to the top part of the oil cooler. The fitting looks like this:

Its leaking. How can I get the fitting apart to replace the o-ring?

TIA

This is a cut-a-way view of the o-ring. How does this come apart?

I don't believe it comes apart. Fitting is most likely garbage

Fixed it! I would have had to order a new hose end ($48 shipped!) but I figured out how to change the o-rings.

The fitting is held together with a metal wire that is driven through a hole in the side of the fitting. It wraps around inside in a groove and keeps the fitting from sliding apart.

I used this punch to drive the piece of metal from the inside. It slide out of the hole and I used a pair of pliers to wiggle it out. I broke a piece off. The old o-rings was pitted from dirt and had some small cuts in them.

I used this small file to clean up the groove the metal retaining piece fits in. I burred the groove a little with the punch.

New O-rings in place.

Little grease to help things slide together.

This is the hole the retaining piece of metal came out. I used a new piece, cut it to length, slide the hose end fittings back together and drove the new piece of metal back through this hole with the punch.

Good stuff!

Put it back in the car and no more leak.
