Stock TII is nothing spectacular. Modded, it's a different story and it's fairly easy to make 13 sec car with TII But things get harder and harder from there...

Checking on the net it seems the 0-60 times range from 6.5 to 6.7 sec. and 1/4 mile times 14.9 to 15.5. Right about in the ballpark of a stock S4. A S5 stock, a little faster, let's say 6 sec and 14.8. Easy, inexpensive mods would drop the number significantly on both models though. Good luck finding one.

Generally a stock s4 and s5 should run low 15's, like a 15.2 iirc, in the 1/4 mile. They can easily be made into a pretty quick car

how fast when?

at an autocross its faster than alot of cars with lots more horsepower.

on twisty roads its faster than tons of cars with gobs more horsepower.

on the 1/4 mile its not that quick.

in the snow its not that quick

in the dirt its not that quick

what kind of driving are ya doing with the thing? there are alot of different 'fast's out there

Where the hell did they get those times? Since when does a stock s4 n/a run a 15.5? Or a stock s5 n/a running a 15.3?

Absolutely correct.

But, I think autocross it's a lot faster, perhaps heaps faster, and those that are quick are not that quick compared to those with gobs of horsepower, depending what fuel the gobs were and if the panels had black or red decals. Any gobs type on snow or dirt is still quicker than one with tons of horsepower because of the weight disadvantage.

Saab vs an Rx-7?

There's no comparison. The 7 has more style and is/can be easily made faster.

I don't know how they pulled a 15 in a NA.

Both of my 88's did 17's.

I hope to be doing low 14's/high 13's in my setup.Anything lower and I'll be really happy!
S4 engine w/S5 turbo,2.5 RB DP,PS,Corksport 2.5 to 3inch catback,Walbro,cleaned injectors,intake,TB mod....

I kept it pretty stock though for a TII Well compared to the guys around here(Carx7,J-Rat,Onefast,etc)

BTW Jrat don't you have a MBC? That helps the times a bit

I'll probably be boosting really low since I have a S5 turbo with no MBC but that's good for the break in.

NAs aren't that slow my s4 ran a 15.2 with only intake and exhaust since then i added a lsd, ported the tb, and got new tires. I've beaten many 14 second cars but haven't been to the track since the new mods but it does show that it didn't take much on my NA to get it damn near a 14, and I still get decent gas mileage too

Well I dont think any of those are correct. Here are the times I go by from a site that has stats on hundreds of cars, most of them obtained from car and driver and other magazines.

Stock S4 N/A:

0-60 - 8.5
1/4 Mile - 16.5

Stock S4 TII:

0-60 - 6.6
1/4 Mile - 15.2

Stock S5 N/A:

0-60 - 8.5
1/4 Mile - 16.5

Stock S5 TII:

On this one I got mixed results but here are the two that I got

0-60 - 6.7
1/4 Mile - 15.1

and

0-60 - 6.3
1/4 Mile - 14.9
