how to drive 13bt?

i heard that 13bt engines like to be driven hard, and love the red line. a guy that owns a few FCs told me once that the engine will actually last longer if it is kept in the higher rpms... is this true? he said that the engine will die quicker if the rpm is kept too low.

Seriously though, carbon likes to build up in between the apex seals and the rotors, taking it up to the line a few times does a good job of keeping the carbon at bay.

Generally it has to be a longer pull (like 3rd gear) to generate enough heat. None of that first gear crap

and these things come alive in 3rd and 4th gear.. it's almost like 4th pulls harder than 3rd (and no it's not creeping)
