I got a killer deal on an FC and I'm curious about if the sunroof is stock or aftermarket.
How does the stock sunroof latch? Is it electric and siding? Or is it similar to the FB? Would love some pictures of the latch system to get an idea if anyone's got em.

 

The factory sunroof on all the FCs was electric; push a button on the overhead console and it pops up to the vent position; hold that same button and it slides open; push the CLOSE button and it slides closed. Anything else is an aftermarket installation.

 

Glad to hear it. That's what I was finding, I just wanted to be sure. I asked because I believe I've got a GTUs, but it has a glass sunroof. And it's definitely different than the stock one, and has a sticker next to the door vin saying "Sunroof installed by xx"
I know the GTUs didn't come with one stock, so it's even more unique!

I need to go peruse the forums more, and have others verify it really is a GTUs as well.

 

To be sure of being a real GTU's Check the tire sticker in the drivers door jamb. If it says 205-55-16 it's a GTUs. Turbo also had the same size 16" all others are either 15" or base model S4 had 14" wheels.
