How does the emissions wiring harness run? Under the UIM? Need help..... please.
I've been searching for a picture of how the Emissions wiring harness runs on a s5 n/a but I have yet to find one.
I have the FSM but the copy I have is so small I can't see how the wires are actually running on the car.
I know where all the plugs go, and I had it all setup but I had two connectors that plugged near the driver's side firewall that I could not get.
This is because the way I routed the harness they wouldn't reach.
I know, when you swap engines you should just pull the harness too that way it is easier, but.... the person that helped me didn't think that way and now... won't help.
Anyway, if someone could just give me some advice or tell me where to run the harness so that all the plugs will go, that'd be great.
I'm thinking that the harness should run underneath the UIM but above the VDI right?
I had it running in front of the manifolds but behind the alternator, and it wouldn't reach the plugs I described earlier.
