how do you take these things off? (pics)

how do you remove em and pull em out, are they held on by clips & glue or what?, i just wanna pull it out so i can do a better job on the priming and painting

there are screws there on the side, if you open the door and remove the weather strip.

3m makes special tape for that purpose it has a hard plastic strip in it, you wedge it behind the weather strippin and pull it back out of the way then stick the tape to the window. works good.
