How do you take apart the power window switch?

Just thought I'd ask before I try taking it apart myself... my driver side power window button just stopped working. It will go down, but not up. The control for the passenger side works fine. The button just seems loose...it doesn't "click" into place in the up position like it should, so I'm thinking it's just contacts, something came loose...etc.

My question is how do I get to it? Do I need to take the door apart or do I just pop a screwdriver in there and pop it out of place?

you can pop it out with a small screwdriver CAREFULLY. does the switch have a dimple in it ? if so thats an s5 switch which has a slide bar mechanism in it no hard at all. but in that slide bar there are 2 springs and a very small ball bearing.VERY EASY TO LOSE. so be patient and always work in a clean area.
if it has ridges on the tip thats an s4 switch both will work in any car this type has the contacts in it that need the carbon cleaned and put back together.
good luck
Al

It should still be an S5 switch, I've never swapped it and the previous owner kept all repair records, none of which show that fix.

Thanks!
