Ok i know im going to get flamed, but what is a blow off valve?? Ive heard people talking about it, but never what it is or does. Thanks

a blow off valve connects to a turbocharger and when there is vacuum instead of boost (i.e. you push in the clutch) it vents the excess boost to prevent engine/turbo damage, but mainly they just sound hell cool PSHHHHH
