How do you size ITBS?

Like the title says, looking for a base line of how to size ITB's for a 13b. I found a chart online that talked about the size of the ITB for hp per cylinder, and thats where i got confused and started running into problems.... Looking for help from someone smarter or more experienced.

More info:

I already have a 6 port turbo FC... but Im trying to determine how to size ITBs for various port configurations on a 13b. Im also attempting to determine wether ITBs will make a worthwhile difference on a turbo setup.

All set ups in question refer to streetable set ups. Im not asking about J ports or P ports or crazy big B ports. I am open to learning about those as well, because i see myself heading in that direction, but im after a streetable setup first. Thanks

Current wish list (hopefully new build):

- 13b 6 port
- streetable port job
- webber intake
- ITB
- 13b turbo plenum
- 750cc primaries
- 1600cc secondaries
- ps2000 Haltech

Theirs obviously alot more involved, im at 6500 without figuring out how to get the power to the ground. The Itbs being the biggest concern at the moment. The rest i have an idea on.

Are you dead set on ITB's, or are you hoping they will be better than a "regular" style throttle body? as in a widely used 80mm mustang TB...

I'm asking because my reply depends on exactly what your looking to do. It's OK if you just want ITB's to have them. Not everyone is out to set records. But if your doing this because you think it will out perform a single butterfly throttle body, you might want to change your build plan.

I was looking at the ITBs under the impression that they would out perform the stock tb, however i am completely unaware of said mustang tb conversion. I am seeking the best intake setup for making reliable power that is streetable. Be it Stock, mustang, ITB, or something else?

Aww.... i saw those. The dyno results proved to be a few more hp on the top end i believe.... however i havent seen a comparison to those against the hp provided by the ITBs.... and i still havent figure out how to properly size ITBs to a 13b for a stock port, let alone street or bridge.

The size if ITB you use would depend on your setup/build/goals. "How to size ITB's?" One answer would be to use a flow bench.
