how do you id trans? n/a vs.turbo
how can you tell which trans you have? i thought there was something about the ribs on case but cant remember. my car has been modded by everyone that ever owned it and i need a clutch and want to be sure someone didnt stuff(or maybe hopefully did) a turbo trans in it.

when you pull the tranny off you'll be able to tell if it is na or turbo for sure by the flywheel. The NA flywheel has raised mounting pads versus the turbo flywheel does not. They are both two step flywheels to machine tho.
In regards to the ribs on the tranny the NA tranny should be a smooth case versus a ribbed case on the t2.
Also how is your starter mounted. If the solenoid is on the bottom of the starter (relative to the ground) then it's a turbo tranny and flywheel. If it is the other way (solenoid on top) then the tranny and flywheel are na.
The fill hole thing is also a surefire bet
