how do you adjust the idle rpms?

i know on my chevy truck i could turn a **** and tell the car to idle at a certain RPM.... i am looking at the rx7 now and all i see is a bell shaped device that has a white tube that gets pushed in and out when the throttle linkage moves.. do i adjust this... i want to see if i i might have bumped that when i was doing my TB mod... i still cannot get it to idle for **** and was hoping maybe i can adjust it there and be ok? thanks in advance

I think this is the screw you're looking for. that's a brass peg with a flathead slot, and my car did have a big black rubber cap over it. loosen this screw to raise idle, tighten it to lower.

to the best of my knowledge, this is some kind of air bypass adjustment, so you can only raise the idle so high - at which point the screw is basically wide open. on my car I can only get it to 650rpm with the screw wide open.

there is also the, ah whats it called it has like a spring and a bolt going through the spring and you can turn that also. i don't know if it is the correct way, but it has worked for me. it is on the front of the throttle body and it hooks to the accelerator cable.
