How do these plugs look?

Changing the plugs to brand new ones for the first time on my S5 Tii FC and pulled the old ones out today. Just wanted to check with you folks how you think they look (apart from being in need of replacement?

Also, one other question: is there any disadvantage to running BUR9EQ plugs in the trailing and leading holes?

Cheers as always for advice

Those look perfect. They got a nice "tan"

All 9's around may make it a bit harder to start, but only a little. Probably will be noticeable in colder weather.

Yup, IIRC the "normal" is defined as a "tan or grey firing end". Mine look black as hell compared to that.

Bloody hell... soldave in "part of his car looks in reasonable condition" shocker!

So do you reckon these plugs even need changing yet? As for the colder weather, it never drops below about 55F year-round so I should probably be good with 9s all round.

that one electrode is worn out, however it is in the trailing position. i would just get new plugs and keep the leading plugs as spares.

Thanks for that. Have ordered a new set of 4 BUR9EQ ones. Changing all I can and doing some maintenance after dodging a bullet with a minor overheating "incident" last weekend.
