How do these look?

Ok, How do these look? First up is the rotors and the housings. The rotors are covered in carbon. what is the best way to get the carbon off ?

What are you looking for out of the engine?

Will those parts run? Yes. Will they produce optimal power and run for another 200k miles? No.

The first rotor housing looks like it has chatter marks in it. I'd be a bit hesitant to reuse that, myself.

If a groove/scrape/etc is big enough to catch your fingernail, it's probably not a good idea to reuse that part.

And cleaning the rotors... I think I used some heavy duty Chemtool carb cleaner, plus a lot of time scraping.

Simple green can clean off most carbon deposits if you let it sit for a sec or two and scrub it off real good.

I've think I remember hearing about Easy-Off Oven Cleaner for cleaning carbon off teh rotors... can anyone back me up?
