alternator wiring Q

which terminal needs to be switched to a constant 12volt source when swappgin an FD alt. in an s5?

i've seen that picture a million time but maby im stupid cause it makes it look liek the S and B terminals on the s5 are already constant power sources, but another thread i read said that one terminal needs to be rewired as a constant power source to avoid the battery drain problem?

From the links given in the other posts, it looks like the S6 and S5 are wired the same.

If putting a S5 in the S4, then you'd have to change the wiring at the S terminal to see battery voltage all the time day and night..........unless you hacked it like me and put in a blocking diode so the battery voltage won't drain off.
