how do i wire my vdi open?

how do i wire my vdi open?

hey i searched and found stuff...but where is the vdi? how to i open it for just top end...i dont have the air pump and my 5th and 6 are wired open can someone peease just tell me how to open it for top end only? pics welcome

vdi is just below the plenum on the driver side, it has an actuator on it. just push it open and find a way to keep it like that, this will just kill any amount of power you had below 4k

Why don't you put the air pump back on and get the 6PI and VDI systems working properly. Your car will perform better overall as a result.

It amazes me how some poeple believe in taking all the things off their cars that make it run properly for whatever reason. NZConvertible is right on the money.

Hey becuase i took everything off my car i blow flames naturally. It's great weight reduction for those who actually race. Plus something for us to do overall when were bored.

And you blow flames (or care to) for what reason? I have run in solo 2 events and prefer my car to run right despite having to take useful parts off my car. I guess I'm not as bored as some of you. I have more important things to do than takeing off parts that actually work.

EXACTLY!


Geez some people here just don't get it. Wiring the aux ports/VDI open doesn't HELP it HURTS. They are meant to change the car's intake for the specific situation it's in. Both positions do a job and have a purpose. You're messing the whole setup up. Fix it like Jason says its the best solution.

no! i dont wanna wire it open for gains...but because i have to!....i have a exhaust without the tube on it and i dont have a air pump,...i live on a tiny island in hawaii with no real access to parts like the air pump or anything...soo i wanna know the easiest way without spending money shipping stock parts over to get my car so its just fun...im lucky enough to live an a place where cops dont care about you car and niether do i ...in the futer i wanna own a nice turbo 2...but for now im just dickinjg around with my full stripped n/a
