They are "press fit".
They need to be pounded from the wheel side.
They should pop out after moving about 1/2" from the hub.
Some people use a lug nut threaded onto the stud to help in this procedure.

I just hammered mine out. To install them I did like Ted said put the stud through the hole and tighten a lug nut to pull the stud through. You might have to do it a couple times.

No, you don't even need to do that.
It's possible to do it without removing all that stuff, I think.
It would make it easier to remove but not necessary.

To remove:

hit on the end with a large Hammer.

to install: put new one in the hole from behind, put a stack of washers over it, and thread a nut on. it'll pull in.

My way:

1. Take off tire
2. Take off caliper (2 bolts 14 I think)
3. Take off 2 phillips bolts on rotor
4. Take off rotor
5. Hammer out studs with a ball-peen hammer
6. Grind a side of the stud to slid it on
7. Get about 5 Washers, Put the stud on and put a nut over it
8. Impact wrench Till In

And your done

P.s. I think I covered it all, not sure it was a while back when I changed mine.
