How do I set the max-height of my driver side window? (RX7 Convertible)

I recently replaced the window motor (and assembly) on my 88 RX7 but afterwards the new window assembly pushes the window far too high (about an inch or two). Anyone know how to set the max-height of the window motor?

There should be an adjustable stop around the top part of the door. I do autoglass but, I havent touch a vert yet.

Basically this stop allows you to adjust where you need the window to stop rolling up at.

I am having the same problem. The previous owner decided to rip apart the door panel to put in a new driver side door handle. what a pain in the ***.

he put all the stops in upside down, and neglected to put anything back in the way it needed to go.

wish you the best of luck

There are two of them in each door held in place by 10mm bolts.

Interesting ... I wonder how I didn't see them when I put the new motor assembly back in. I'll tear it apart probably next Monday or Tuesday.

Thanks for the help guys...
