I tried taking the map or dome lights out (the ones you push in and out) so I can put LEDs in them but I tried pulling them and they didnt come out. I took off the whole thing that holds the rear view mirror, dome and map lights and sunroof switch and I found the lights were connected to wires. I'm not sure if theyre a special type of bulb that are attached to the wires or if it just wasnt coming out for me.

 

When you pull the assembly out, you unscrew the back of them and the entire switch comes off. The light bulbs just pop out. Really, once you pull it off, just keep taking screws off until everything is in pieces. I just did mine last week.

 

ok i got them out and put the leds in but the leds are too long so i couldnt push them in to turn them on or off.
