How do I remove the dash?

I have removed all the peices that are easy to remove such as the center console the radio and all the vents but the dash peice is being very difficult to get off. I have read on here somewhere that tells you were all the screws and bolts are to take it off but I cant find it if you know where it is please refer me. the car is a 91 and when I get the dash off Im going to put it in my 88 GXL so if you have any tips or tricks that would help me do this right so I dont have any problems or if you have done this before please let me know some of the difficulties of this job and how to overcome them. THANKS A LOT

You can DL a FSM (Factory Service Manual) that should have everything you need from FC3S.org good luck, you do know that the 88 is a S4 car and the 91 is a S5 right? Im not sure if that'll complicate things but it might be something worth looking into. Good luck.

Remove the small center clip in between the top dash vents. Unscrew that bolt, remove the top front dash cover. Unbolt 4 screws that hold the front of the dash on near the windsheild. Unbolt the two bolts between the dash and the door located between the outermost vents. Do this on both sides. Remove the 4 small bolts on the bottom transmission hump. Locate the two bolts that connect the steering column to the dash. It's under the steering column and you might need to remove the column cover to access these bolts. Remove all wiring harnesses ect.

I have the fsm. If someone wants to host it. Its about 7.6 mg for the dash removal instructions. If you need them.
